Do not use Methylene Blue if you are on antidepressant agents such as SSRI, SNRI, Lithium, or MAO inhibitors (the combination of these with MB can increase serotonin levels to a dangerous level)

Do not use Methylene Blue if you are taking hydrocodone (this can increase serotonin levels to a dangerous level)

Do not use Methylene Blue if you have a G6PD (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase) deficiency
