P-Shot®

The P-Shot®, or Priapus Shot®, is a medical procedure designed to improve sexual function and enhance male sexual performance. It involves the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is derived from the patient’s own blood. PRP is known for its regenerative properties, containing growth factors and other bioactive substances that stimulate tissue repair and regeneration.

P-Tox®

100 units of Botox are administered into the corpora cavernosa, which are the erectile shafts of the penis. This aims to relax the smooth muscle within the blood vessels. These blood vessels play a crucial role in achieving and maintaining an erection. When they undergo relaxation, they widen (dilate), facilitating a more rapid and prolonged flow of blood to the penis. This process enhances erections and improves sexual performance.

What is the P-Shot®?

The P-Shot® is considered a safe and innovative approach to addressing certain aspects of male sexual health and performance. As with any medical procedure, it’s crucial for individuals to choose a qualified and experienced healthcare provider for optimal results and safety.

The P-Shot® procedure utilizes the growth factors in platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to stimulate tissue regeneration and improve blood flow in the penis. This can lead to increased firmness, improved stamina, and potentially enhanced sexual function.

The healthcare provider carefully injects the PRP into specific areas of the penis, including the shaft and the head. The injections are strategically placed to stimulate tissue regeneration and enhance blood flow.

Before the injection, a local anaesthetic is applied to the penis to minimize any potential discomfort during the procedure.

It’s important to note that P-Shot® procedures should only be performed by a trained and experienced medical professional, as there are potential risks and complications associated with the procedure.

TYPES OF P-SHOT® PROCEDURES

There are several types of P-Shot® procedures used in regenerative medicine. Here are some of the most common ones

Standard P-Shot®

The standard P-Shot® involves the injection of PRP into various areas of the penis, including the shaft and head. This aims to stimulate tissue regeneration, improve blood flow, and enhance overall sexual function.

Combination with Other Treatments

We offer a combination of the P-Shot® with other treatments, such as exosomes and acoustic wave therapy (shockwave therapy) that  aim to further improve erectile function and sexual performance.

P-Shot® + P-Tox®

We highly recommend combining your first P-Showith P-TOX®.  With P-TOX, 100 units of Botox is injected into the corpora cavernosa (the erectile shafts) of the penis to relax the smooth muscle of the blood vessels. These blood vessels are essential for obtaining and sustaining an erection; when they are relaxed, they dilate, which leads to faster and more sustained blood flow to the penis, thereby boosting erections and sexual performance.

The effects of P-TOX® are typically experienced 1-2 weeks after the treatment, and last up to 6 months. The Botox works synergistically with the PRP so that optimal results are obtained when combining P-Shot® + P-Tox®

It’s important to note that Regenerative Aesthetics is an evolving field, and research and clinical practices continue to advance. Patients interested in exploring this approach should consult with qualified medical professionals who specialize in both regenerative medicine and aesthetic procedures to ensure safety and efficacy. Our qualified APRN Natalie Ray is licensed with the Cellular Medicine Association to provide these treatments.

WHAT CONDITIONS DOES THE P-SHOT® HELP WITH?

There are several types of P-Shot® procedures used in regenerative medicine. Here are some of the most common ones

P-Shot® for Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

  • This type of P-Shot® is specifically targeted at men with erectile dysfunction. The injections aim to improve blood flow, potentially leading to better erections. It may be suitable for those who have difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection.

Peyronie’s Disease Treatment

P-Shot® can be used as a part of a treatment plan for Peyronie’s disease, a condition characterized by the development of fibrous scar tissue inside the penis, leading to curvature during erections. The PRP injections may help with tissue regeneration and potentially reduce the severity of the curvature.

What are the benefits of the P-Shot®?

Enhanced Sexual Performance

The P-Shot® is effective in improving overall sexual performance. Men may experience increased stamina, improved endurance, and heightened satisfaction during sexual activity.

Increased Sensitivity

Some men report increased sensitivity in the genital area after undergoing the P-Shot®. This heightened sensitivity can contribute to a more satisfying sexual experience.

Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction (ED)

For men experiencing erectile dysfunction, the P-Shot® may offer a non-surgical and minimally invasive option. It is considered as a potential treatment for ED, especially when conventional treatments may not be suitable or effective.

Potential Improvement in Peyronie’s Disease

The P-Shot® may be part of a treatment plan for Peyronie’s disease, a condition characterized by the development of fibrous scar tissue in the penis, causing curvature during erections. PRP injections may contribute to tissue regeneration and potentially reduce the severity of the curvature.

Enhanced Libido (Sex Drive)

Some men report an increase in libido or sex drive after undergoing the P-Shot®. This could be related to improved blood flow, tissue health, and overall sexual function.

Minimal Downtime

In general, the P-Shot® procedure has minimal downtime. Patients can often resume normal activities shortly after the treatment, making it a convenient option for individuals with busy lifestyles.

    Science behind the Priapus Shot®

Who’s an Ideal Candidate for the P-Shot® ?

How does the P-Shot® Procedure work?

Who’s an ideal candidate for the P-Shot®?

The P-Shot® isn’t just for men with full-blown erectile dysfunction; it’s a proactive solution for individuals experiencing early signs of tissue aging and diminished erectile response. If you’re noticing these changes, particularly after the age of 40, the P-Shot® could be the right choice for you.

For those who recognize the early stages of diminished sensitivity,  the P-Shot® and P-Tox® combined treatment is recommended. This combined treatment aims to regenerate tissue and sustain an erection, contributing to overall health.

If a patient has been struggling with erectile dysfunction, the P-Shot® offers promising results. In severe cases, a series of three shots may be recommended.

This treatment is provided by Natalie Ray, APRN, CRNA-BC licensed provider with the Cellular Medicine Association. If you are not sure which of our P-Shot treatments is right for you, we offer a free online consultation.

Who May Not Be an Ideal Candidate?

If you’re a smoker, it’s important to note that smoking introduces free radicals into your body, destabilizing cellular function. This can counteract the positive effects of the procedure, making smoking individuals less suitable candidates for the P-Shot®.

Patients with high blood pressure that isn’t well-controlled with medication may not be ideal candidates either. Optimizing blood pressure is crucial to ensure the success of the rejuvenation process, particularly for vascular tissue targeted by the procedure.

Uncontrolled diabetes poses another barrier to candidacy. Tight control of blood sugar levels is necessary for optimal results and to avoid undermining the rejuvenation achieved with a B-shot.

For those with a body mass index (BMI) higher than 30, it’s advisable to address weight concerns before considering the procedure. Achieving a BMI under 30 is recommended for individuals seeking the rejuvenating benefits of the P-Shot®, with long-term optimal results achievable by maintaining a BMI lower than 25.

Following this criteria, individuals can maximize the benefits of the P-Shot®, ensuring an optimized and effective rejuvenation process.
